There was a big buzz from yesterday evening about Pawan Kalyan to land in Hyderabad directly from Swiss to attend the wedding reception. While no one had correct information on his flight updates but some sources have reported us on Pawan having made his presence at Park Hyatt. If this is true then Pawan appears to have wrapped up two songs of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ in less than a week.

AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu in a heated encounter with the YSRCP during the question hour in assembly sessions yesterday said that there won't be any police cases if normal citizens thrash up the culprits in sand mafia. Babu said that sand mafia is one menace which should be uprooted in its early stages.

Stating that the AP government is the first in the country to give free sand, Babu said that those who resort to extorting money for sand or illegally export sand must be punished severely. Babu further said that people should use the free sand judiciously only as per their requirements.

In the wake of complaints and allegations of Rs. 2000 crore worth sand scam against the TDP leaders, Babu said that strict measures including PD act will be implemented against those who face corruption charges.

Babu further said that his government has finalized 491 authorized sand shores where commoners can pay the minimum labor charges and take free sand and that fraudsters will be put behind bars and their vehicles will be seized if found exporting the sand illegally.

DELHI: Samsung has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Galaxy J3 (2016) smartphone. The company has priced the device at Rs 8,990 and it will be exclusively available on Snapdeal.

The smartphone offers a new feature called S bike mode which claims to change the way users ride. The new ' S bike mode' feature would mute the phone and automatically send a text to the caller to try calling later. The Bike Mode feature will help the bikers to concentrate on the road while driving. Moreover, the bikers can also mark a few contacts as important, so that they can be notified even while riding.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) flaunts a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution. An intense high drama surrounded last night as Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha's husband Paruchuri Ramakoteswara Rao was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified men in Hyderabad. Ramakoteswara Rao and his car driver were attacked when he was travelling with documents of his land which is with 15 crores.

After 7 hours of panic and suspense, the kidnappers freed the MP's husband at around 1 am at night, after the news spread like wildfire in the media. On his return, Ramakoteswara Rao told the media that he was not kidnapped by anyone and that Telangana state's minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's son Sai Yadav took him to Taj Krishna hotel to settle a real estate dispute.

Ramakoteswara Rao also stated that Sai Yadav threatened him and forcedly made him sign on a few documents and even snatched away his Hyderabad land documents. The police will investigate the threatening case after a written complaint is filed by the MP's husband.

Being a model herself, Mandana attended the INIFD Presents Gen Next show at the opening day of Lakme Fashion Week Summer-Resort 2016, taking place at hotel St. Regis here.

Asked about her experience of being a part of the fashion industry once again, she said: “It’s amazing. (However) I have never been very interested in runway shows, but I do enjoy dressing up. I do enjoy coming for fashion weeks and looking at the dresses, the new collections and what’s in.

“Because of the kind of job that I do, I have to wear different clothes and go to different places.”

For her appearance at the fashion gala, Mandana wore an outfit designed by Gen Next designer Agrima Batra, a 22-year-old, who is the youngest of all the five Gen Next designers who showcased their works this season.

Dantewada: Seven CRPF jawans killed in landmine blast triggered by Maoists

The landmine was planted cleverly by Maoists under the 'black top or puccka' road and the troops were travelling in a three-vehicle convoy, officials said.

Seven CRPF men were killed today and their weapons looted after Naxals carried out a deadly landmine blast on their vehicle in the jungles of the worst Naxal-affected Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. Officials said the incident occurred near the Basaras-Kuakonda axis in the Melawada village in the said district when a Tata-709 mini-truck of the force went over a landmine at about 4 PM and all the seven occupants were killed from the impact of the blast. 

The landmine was planted cleverly by Maoists under the ‘black top or puccka’ road and the troops were travelling in a three-vehicle convoy, they said. The vehicle and the troops were blown to smithereens and a four-feet crater has been created at the place were the blast took place, they said. 

They said the troops belonged to the 230th battalion of the force deployed in south Bastar area for anti-Naxal operations. Preliminary reports said the squad was led by a Sub-Inspector-rank officer and was moving on an administrative task as they were not in uniform. “All the weapons of the troops have been looted by Naxals. Reinforcement squads have reached the spot,” they said. Chhattisgarh’s acting Home Minister Ajay Chandrakar also informed in the state Assembly that seven security personnel were killed in the Naxal attack.

An injunction suit has been filed against Rajnikanth and his fans, for wasting thousands of litres of milk in the name of Palabhishekam to Rajini's posters and cutouts during the release of Rajini's films.

The legal suit was issued following a petition by Dr IMS Manivanna who asked the superstar to come forward and stop the milk wastage and also requested the court to issue directives to Rajini and his fans. In its order, the court has asked Rajini to respond during the next hearing which is scheduled on April 11.

No doubt that this legal case will alert all other stars down south to ask their fans not to waste milk, which means that there won't be any Palabhishekams for stars in the future. This latest legal tangle is one of the many cases that the Superstar has been facing other the past few years. During the release of his last film Lingaa, Rajini was mired in a prolonged legal hassle.

Taiwan's Foxconn plans to buy all 200 billion yen ($1.78 billion) worth of the preferred shares owned by Sharp Corp's two major creditor banks, a source familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co, plans to complete the purchase by June 2019, the source told Reuters.

The Taiwanese company had initially planned to purchase about half of the preferred shares owned by the core banking units of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc and Mizuho Financial Group Inc.

Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar is making Telugu film debut with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming film Sardaar Gabbar Singh as the antagonist in the movie. In a recent media interaction, Sharad said that Pawan Kalyan finalized him even before he auditioned for the role.

He said, “I was approached by producer Sharrath Marar, and was called for a screen test. However, even before I auditioned for the role, Pawan sir knew he had found his villain. In his mind, he had finalised me even before I was officially signed for the role. I think he has a great eye for talent.”

Pawan’s faith in Sharad boosted his morale. Sharad, who worked in television and films such as Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Rocky Handsome, will be seen as an evil landlord in the film. The film’s shooting is progressing at a jet speed in Switzerland.

KCR almost emptied TDP in Telangana with operation akarsh leaving only three MLAs and Revanth Reddy is one of them. The new seats were allocated to these TDP leaders and Revanth Reddy got seat number 123. Surprisingly, this seat has a lot of prominence and background. 

The Beginning:

Chandrababu Naidu became the CM of Andhra Pradesh for the second time in 1999 and KCR did not get a berth in cabinet. KCR was pacified with deputy speaker and the dissatisfied leader focused his full time towards building up a party for Telangana and finally called it quits to TDP after 2 years. 

KCR resigned to his MLA post and announced the launch of TRS to fight for separate Telangana. He won as MLA in bi-elections from Siddipet and he was allocated seat number 123 by the then speaker Pratibha Bharathi. 

The Revenge:

After 14 years of fight and protest, KCR finally succeeded in achieving a separate state for Telangana and TRS formed its government in the newly formed state. KCR is CM this time. 

KCR did not take much time to attract TDP leaders of Telangana into his party leaving only three in the name of T-TDP. Errabelli Dayakar was the floor of Telangana TDP until KCR pulled him into his 'car'  along with 11 other leaders. The pink party leader made the 12 migrated MLAs push a letter to speaker asking to dissolve TDLP into TRS. Speaker approved it and allotted their seats on ruling party side. 

This compelled the house to adjust seating accordingly and Revanth Reddy became the floor leader for T-TDP sitting at seat number 123! 

The Hope:

This seat topic turned the most discussed in Assembly and the history led them to the time of 2001. It is the same seat allotted to TRS MLA KCR by CM Chandrababu Naidu then. Though allotting the same seat to Revanth Reddy now is purely coincidental, TDP leaders are hoping to see Revanth as CM in future!

It seems to be the season of WhatsApp updates as the Facebook-owned chat app is constantly rolling out new features and updates to make itself more engaging and fun. The latest Android update adds quick reply feature, which lets the users reply straight from the notification bar. The update for now is available only for those users who have signed up for beta testers on Google Play.

Once the update is available for all, users would be able to see a reply button in the notification panel with the WhatsApp message they receive. The reply button expands to a pop-up window, so the users would no longer have to open the app to reply. The users simply need to tap the message to view the full conversation in the app. Though this updates is available only for select users, WhatsApp in January had added a similar quick reply feature for its iPhone users.

In an attempt to revive the Hangout app, Google also pushed out a quick reply update for its Android users in January. The quick reply feature is more or less similar to what Apple offers as OS feature in iPhone.

Along with quick reply, the update also adds few other options for the Android users. Users can now tap on either profile picture or group image of any conversation instead of long pressing the chat name to get the list of actions. The text formatting feature which was earlier available in beta version is also finally available. Users can now bold, italicise, or even strikethrough the texts.

WhatsApp in previous update had introduced a feature only for its iOS platform which allowed the user to save media files for specific chats or groups. The chat app recently extended its file sharing ability by allowing the users to share pdf files on the app for both iOS and Android platforms. While this update allowed the users to share only local pdf files, a later update added a new feature which lets the user convert Google docs and sheets into pdf before sharing it. Other new and interesting additions to the app include- array of new emojis , shared link history tab and ability to add 256 members to any group on the app.

We are ready to answer any valid question raised by the Opposition and willing to continue the discussion till midnight if they cooperate. 

iii) I haven't gone to China for a vacation. My tour was solely meant for drawing investments for development of the state. 

iv) If irrigation water was provided for 1 crore acres, Telangana will be full of greenery. Dream of Golden Telangana is possible only if projects are completed. Mission Bhageeratha is aimed at providing water to every nook and corner in the state.

v) We can't be at loggerheads with neighboring states (AP - Irrigation Projects/Water Allocation) all the time and issues should be solved in an amicable manner.

The 31-year-old actress informed that she spoke to Sushant, who is filming Dinesh Vijan's directorial 'Raabta' in Bucharest, yesterday and her beau was as shocked as her by all that is being written about them in the media. "I've been in talks for some projects for the last six-seven months and there could be something coming up soon," she promises, adding that this could be one reason she may not take Sushant up on his invitation to visit him on location. "I have never visited him on his sets; I only went with him to Cape Town because I hadn't been to South Africa before. But this time I will be really busy over the next couple of months with my own professional projects to drop in on him."

Does this mean that the big fat Indian wedding that he has been prepping up for is still scheduled for the year end? She laughs, "You'll definitely get invited to my wedding. "With my kids (son Shivansh and daughter Dalai) growing up, it's not just about making a film but making a difference. Kaabil is for them," the filmmaker informed Mirror, saying he had set certain benchmarks which he hoped to meet. The film will kick off with Hrithik and Yami. But they aren't jumping into action directly.

"As much as I look forward to working with a new cast and crew, I will miss the regulars. The excitement is palpable as we embark on a new journey," the writer-director adds, admitting that it feels like starting a new year at school with freshly covered books, new uniforms, shoes and lots of ambition. "I have mixed feelings of excitement, nervousness, joy, fear and introspection."

Meanwhile, Hrithik spent Monday ringing in son Hrehaan's 10th birthday with his entire family. From today it's all work and no play.

Producer Rakesh Roshan informed that they have already recorded two songs and are extremely excited. "It is a challenging film for Hrithik and I am confident that Sanjay will do a great job. We have worked together on the script and dialogues and I will be there for the muhurat shot. After that I will leave it in Sanjay's hands," he says.

This time, ‘Kahaani 2’ is already lying on sets in Sujay Ghosh direction with Vidya Balan again taking up central character. This sequel starts off exactly from same point where ‘Kahaani’ has ended.

Taking the credentials of ‘Kahaani’ being a super hit, makers aren’t compromising this time to go either for a remake or release the dubbed version to ‘Kahaani 2.’ According to reports from Bollywood circles, Viacom 18 is planning for a Telugu and Tamil version of ‘Kahaani’ to be shot in parallel with Hindi version. Release will also be commenced in parallel.

The mystery thriller has taken off in Kalimpong, a hill station in West Bengal. ‘First day off during the Kahaani 2 shoot. The trees in Kalimpong seem to be swaying to Gulzar Saab's Musafir Hoon Yaaron. Just who isn’t a Fan,’ Vidya posted on her social networking page. So, this could be the possible debut of Vidya Balan in Telugu.

Beware, a bug in the world's largest caller ID app Truecaller could expose personal details of millions of users worldwide, claim security researchers from the Cheetah Mobile Security Research Lab.

According to the researchers, "This vulnerability allows anyone to steal Truecaller users' sensitive information, potentially opening doors for attackers. Overall, more than 100 million Android users who have downloaded this app on their smartphones are in danger."

"The researcher found that Truecaller uses devices' IMEI as the only identity label of its users. Meaning that anyone gaining the IMEI of a device will be able to get Truecaller users' personal information (including phone number, home address, mail box, gender, etc.) and tamper app settings without users' consent, exposing them to malicious phishers," says the Beijing headquarter-based company in a blog post.

According to Cheetah Mobile, by exploiting the flaw, the attackers can steal users's personal information like account name, gender, e-mail, profile pic, home address, etc; modify a user's application settings, disable spam blockers; add to a black list for users; or delete a user's blacklist.

Cheetah Mobile Security Research Team claimed that it notified Truecaller about this vulnerability as soon as they discovered the loophole. Truecaller on its part has addressed the issue and released an update on March 22, but users still need to update to the app's latest version.
