Tollywood tall beauty Anushka is coming up with one more lady oriented film 'Bhagmathi'.  The actress is going to play the role of ‘Bhagmathi’, wife of Quli Qutub Shah. The movie is officially launched today in a grand manner and the regular shoot of the movie will be started when Anushka will wrap upcoming movie “S3” starring Suriya. Apparently, Anushka has made it clear that she wants a different look for the role.

The movie will be directed by Ashok, who had previously directed the low-budget hit movie ‘Pilla Zamindar’ and it is produced by UV Creations. Already the actress has became first preference for periodic and lady oriented films However we have to wait and see, will it add one more feather to her cap or not.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is getting ready for a much awaited macho comeback with the re-make of ‘Katti’ under the direction of VV.Vinayak. Film will be launched in style on April, 29th. The project always took one step forward and two steps backward.

Chiru first selected Puri Jagannath but later shunted him as he didnot like ‘Auto Jani’ second half. He selected VV.Vinayak and many expected that Chiru will ditch him after Akhil's debut with Vinayak turned out to be a disaster.

However as Vinayak is diehard fan of Chiru and having delivered hits like’ Tagore’ for him and ‘Nayak’ for his son Ram Charan saved the day for him.

Now speculation is on whether the film is Chiru's 150th. Amitabh sometime back commented that if Chiru stars in one more film then he will complete 150th.By that logic as Chiru did special role in ‘Bruce Lee’,he already completed 150th film.

However Chiru said that it was just a cameo and his close aides say one shouldn't consider it. In that case chiru will be in problem as he did 8 guest roles till now. Only Chiru, mega family and his fans can answer.

Buzz is, he spent a lot on ‘Shuddi’ and Ranbeer Kapoor's next and as the projects got shelved,his Dharma productions is in financial losses and this effect will fall on ‘Baahubali 2’. It has to be seen whether ‘Baahubali 2’ will be released safely by Karan Johar or not.

We all known that Baahubali team had opted for a one month break as the heat wave conditions in Hyderabad are making life difficult to shoot. Ace director AR Murugadoss who made his B’ town debut with super hit film ‘Ghajini’ has proved himself once again with his second film ‘Holiday’  which was the re-make of his Tamil film ‘Thupakki’. Now the director is coming up with his third bollywood film titled ‘Akira’.

The film starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead is said to be the Hindi adaptation of the critically acclaimed Tamil movie ‘Mouna Guru’ (2011). The film release date was announced officially as September, 23rd and Murugadoss is wrapping up things accordingly. AR Murugadoss and Fox Star India jointly produced this film for which RD Rajasekar cranked the camera.

Given that there are no auspicious muhurthams for the next few months, many new Telugu films are being launched from today to 29th of this month. Allu Sirish's new film will have its launch tomorrow. MVN Reddy (Venu) will be wielding megaphone for this film. Shailendra Productions will be bankrolling the project.

The film will start its regular shooting in July after Sirish's next project, ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’ releases. ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’ shooting is currently in the last leg. The movie unit is toiling under harsh sun for the last 10 days with outdoor shoots to make sure the movie will be completed.

‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’ is being planned for Late Summer release. ‘Solo’ fame Parasuram is wielding megaphone for this film. Lavanya Tripati is playing the female lead in the movie. The film will be produced by Allu Aravind under his banner of Geetha Arts. Allu Sirish had done vigorous work outs for this movie and is reportedly sporting 6 Pack abs for a crucial scene in the movie.

‘Mass’ will be taking on Nara Rohit's ‘Raja Cheyyi Vesthe’ and Allu Arjun's ‘Sarrainodu’ at Telugu box-office. ‘Maari’ is a big hit for Dhanush. It is the biggest opening of his career too. Post the success of ‘Raghuvaran B.Tech’, Dhanush's graph in Telugu states soared and from then all his films are being dubbed and are getting good attention from audience here.

There are no big films release in Telugu this weekend and that gave some breathing space to the much delayed, ‘Mass’ to be brought out of the cans. The makers have announced their release plan just two days ahead of the release day and so they should extensively promote the film to take it to the people.

Creative director Krishna Vamsi's next starring Sundeep Kishan is titled as 'Nakshatram'. The film had its launch today at Filmnagar Temple in this morning. The regular shooting of the film will begin from today itself and the shooting will go non-stop till completion. ‘Nakshatram’ is the story of an youngster who aspires to become a police.

The makers did not announce about the rest of the cast and crew of the film. ‘Nakshatram’ is being produced by Sri Chakra Media in association with K.Srinivasulu of Butta Bomma Creations, S.Venugopal and Sajju of Win win win creations. Krishna Vamsi left the project midway and started working on script for Balayya. But even that did not materialize as Balayya opted for Krish to that prestigious project. But I needed to gain muscle, which is a difficult, scientific process. The hardest part is sticking to the routine of a strict diet and vigorous training for months in a disciplined way.”

Sharing the secret, he said, "I had to just reduce my protein intake for ‘Ghazi’, so my muscle size and weight dropped"

Incidentally ‘Dictator’ 100 days coincides with the launch day of Balakrishan's Prestigious 100th film, ‘Gautamiputra Sathakarani’.

‘Dictator’ garnered bad talk back then, but it is still a no harm project for trade as the producers released the film in most areas. It is the prestigious 99th film in the actor's career and was directed by Srivas. The movie is also the first instance Balakrishna teamed up with a Bollywood corporate production house, Eros International.

We already know that Puri Jagannadh will be directing Nandamuri Kalyanram in his next project. Rumours are rife that there is an important role in the film for which Puri wants to cast Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. This role reportedly will be of 20 minutes duration. Puri previously directed Big B in Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap and so is confident of convincing him to play the role.

The movie will start rolling once Puri Jagannadh completes the shooting of his current project, Rogue with a new comer Ishaan. Puri gave the much needed break to NTR with Temper and Kalyanram wants the same for himself too. Puri already finished the script work of the film and the pre-production works are already on.

There are rumours that the movie is titled 'Remix'. However there is no official confirmation about the title. Puri himself penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Kalyanram himself will be producing the film on his own banner, NTR Arts banner. On the other side, Puri Jagannadh is also not in the best of his form after back to back failures. So this project will be important to both of them.

There are rumours that Mehreen who made her filmy debut with Nani's Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha will be romancing the actor in the film. However the actress sent in a press note that she is not approached for the film.

She also added that she is doing a Bollywood film which is being produced by Anushka Sharma. In Telugu, she is pairing up with Sai Dharam Tej in her next film which will be directed by BVS Ravi. He previously directed a film 'Wanted' starring Gopichand which went on to become big disaster. Mehreen also added that she is listening more scripts.

Shruti Haasan will be seen as Kamal's daughter in the movie to be directed by TK Rajeev Kumar. Sources say it is a serious film on the relationship between a father and his daughter. The regular shooting of the film will begin from April, 29th. Major portion of the movie shoot will happen in USA. The first schedule will happen in Chennai and after that the team will fly to US.

If we have to believe what we see here, the entire lip locking controversy was humbug after all. Emraan hashmi was seen massaging Nargis Fakhri's feet on Azhar sets and the actress is in a cheerful face hinting there is nothing wrong between the duo. So this picture wiped off and replaced all the lip kiss controversy rumors on Nargis. 

Emraan Hashmi is acting as Azhar in this biopic and Nargis Fakhri is acting as his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani. The director is Toni De souza and the movie is set for release on May 13th.

AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced the rankings of his ministers and MLAs in a cabinet meeting yesterday. These rankings were based on the legislatives' developmental work in their constituencies. After announcing the ranks, Babu advised the leaders to aggravate their hardwork towards building a formidable state.

Incidentally, in a survey that was conducted at the behest of Chandrababu, the AP CM was given 79th rank in the list of MLAs, which was topped by Jogeswararao of the Mandapeta constituency in East Godavari. Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohan secured the 2nd spot.

Babu also ranked his party presidents based on their relentless efforts in strengthening the party in the district level. Chittoor district's TDP president Srinivasulu secured the 1st rank, while Batchula Arjunudu of Krishna district  was given the second rank.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan made a disastrous debut in Bollywood with Zanjeer. The film and Charan's performance were panned by critics and Charan has not made any move to act in Bollywood again. However, speaking to a national media agency, Charan had some striking insights about Bollywood and the southern film industries.

Charan said that Bollywood has a lot to learn from South Indian Cinema in terms of film scripts. Charan felt that the drama in South Indian films is much stronger when compared with Bollywood scripts.

Hailing Bollywood's production values, Charan also said that he would want the southern film industry to adapt the Bollywood's production methodology. "Bollywood is far superior in those terms. We need to buckle up here," said Charan.

Talking about the film viewing culture in both the industries, Charan said that unlike in Bollywood very few films are being made exclusively for multiplexes down south since everyone watches a film even if it is a small film or a big film. Charan made these comments at an event in the capital.

Now, the makers of Jabardasth are planning to replace Roja and Nagababu with some other celebrities of equal fame. There seems to be different reasons for these changes and one of them is Roja's 6 lakh rupees remuneration for a show. On the other side, it is heard that TDP leaders were trying since long to sideline Roja from that show and their pressure might be one of the prime reasons too.

Jabardasth is loosing its popularity and TRPs due to repeated content, pale skits and increasing number of double entendre. With long term judges Naga Babu and Roja, the show is no longer enthralling and there is nothing they could make the show more entertaining. So the makers Mallemala production Syam Prasad Reddy and channel organizers are heard to be in plans to bring new faces.

AP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao is hinting with his acts about his joining Janasena before 2019 elections. Ganta is known for his opportunist politics irrespective of which party he represents. He moved to PRP from TDP, then to Congress and finally found himself in TDP again. If reports are to be believed, Chandrababu is not giving any prominence to Ganta for his mum acts during Mudragada and Kapu Garjana issues. 

The Kapu leader exposes his caste prominent acts at several instances and recent Sarrainodu audio success event too made it look even strong. His speech at that event literally irked TDP cadre as he did not mention a word related to TDP or Chandrababu Naidu anywhere but spoke about centre, smart city and Vizag. 

Many TDP leaders have brought this to Lokesh and Chandrababu's notice and they too started keeping him out of crucial activities. Chandrababu too heard to have ruled out appointing Ganta's close candidate as vice chancellor post of AU. 

With no other option left for him other than TDP now, Ganta is expected to be holding Janasena flag by next elections for sure. And as he already has that support from Mega family, Ganta is planning to launch his son as hero in Telugu film industry soon.

Looks like the ugly rift between maverick director Puri Jagannadh and Abhishek Nama, Kali Sudheer and Mutyala Ramdas, the distributors of Loafer who allegedly manhandled Puri Jagannadh and threatened his family members, will not subside anytime soon. After Puri filed a case against them, the distributors arranged a press meet and strongly rebuked Puri's allegations and said that Puri should be arrested for implicating them in false cases.

And now, it's Puri Jagannadh's turn to give a fitting counter retort. Speaking to the media, Puri gave left and right to the distributors and called the distributors' claims of buying Loafer's Nizam's rights for 7.5 crores. Puri said that the film's producer C Kalyan told him that he sold the Nizam rights for 3.4 crores only.

Puri goes on to reveal that Abhishek and Sudheer met him before Loafer's release and offered him a 5 film deal. Even Mutyala Ramdas requested Puri to direct a film under his production. "However, I realized only later that these three distributors tried to trap him into their debts in the name of deals, thereby making me responsible for their losses," said Puri. Puri also recalled how the distributors hailed him as a distributors' director in a press meet before Loafer's release

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Exam Results 2016 for 1st and 2nd Year Examination is likely to be announced on Tuesday.

The students can access the Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) Intermediate Results at the board's website www.bieap.gov.in

Around 14 lakhs students appeared in the exams.

In yet another tragic incident of Telugu students losing their lives in the US, M Jayabharath Kumar Reddy, a 24-year-old student from Guntur died after suffering severe injuries in a road accident that took place while on his return after watching Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh in Texas, USA on April 9th.

A native of Venkataramana Colony in Guntur, Jayabharath was pursuing MS final year with Texas University. On the night of April 9, he was returning home after watching the premiere show of Sardaar Gabbar Singh along with his friend. Their car was hit by a speeding truck coming in the opposite direction and Jayabharath sustained serious injuries on his head.

Jayabharath was soon rushed to Christus Spohn Hospital in Texas, where he slipped into coma and the doctors put him on the ventilator. Doctors performed  two surgeries on Jayabharath and kept him under observation for 9 days. On Sunday night, doctors finally declared him brain dead and removed the ventilator. Jayabharath Reddy's mortal remains are expected to arrive in Guntur by Wednesday.

The core team of scientific thriller 24 is in Hyderabad today to announce release date of their film. Hero Suriya attended the event along with his director Vikram Kumar, co-producer Gnanavel Raja and writer Shashank Vennelakanti. Suriya announced to release 24 along with the original version on May 6th.

Producer Gnanavel Raja revealed that, he actually wanted to remake Manam with Suriya, Karthi and their father Sivakumar playing lead roles. But, he dropped the idea, since Vikram Kumar prepared a different story for Suriya.

'When I called Vikram to congratulate him for Manam success and also about remaking the film in Tamil, he asked half an hour appointment with Suriya to narrate a fresh story. He even told me to do Manam remake, if Suriya won't accept the fresh concept. Fortunately, Suriya liked the story and 24 has happened.'

Suriya said that, Telugu people always respect experimental subjects and hoped his film 24 will also be encouraged here.

Here the question is: Will Sarbjit fall prey to the political hostility between the two countries? Why we say so? The film revolves around the life of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian farmer who was kept in captivation in Pakistan till the very last day and the relentless fight for justice led by his sister Dalbir Kaur. Randeep Hooda plays Sarabjit whereas Aishwarya Rai Bachchan leads the pack as Dalbir.

Now, the trailer of Sarbjit has bene unveiled last week and it does raise quite a few eyebrows. Intriguing, gritty and very, very intense- the trailer has pakced quite a punch. But there a few scenes which might go down too well with the Pakistan Censors. Given the history of bans that Bollywood films have faced in Pakistan, it's a no-brainer that the Censor Board of Pakistan will scrutinise the film very carefully before allowing its release in the neighbouring country.
