YSRCP's Jagan Wants To Be PAC Chairman?:

Ever since the YSRCP's former Nandyala MLA Bhuma Nagireddy resigned to his Public Accounts Committe (PAC) Chairman's post, the party's President YS Jagan has not found a proper replacement. In the past, there were reports that Jyothula Nehru desired the PAC Chairman's post, but joined TDP after Jagan ignored his request.

As per the latest buzz in the political circles, Jagan himself has set his eyes on the PAC top honour. To concentrate on the PAC post, Jagan even ignored the ongoing defections of YSRCP MLAs and assigned the job to his right hand Vijay Sai Reddy to talk to the party MLAs to stop any further defections.

However, Jagan was informed by his own party leaders that the Leader of Opposition should not be made the Chairman of PAC according to the law. This left Jagan with no other option but withdraw from the race and to again find a leader of his choice as the replacement.
