CBFC rejected Cherian new film:

Jayan Cherian, the New York-based director of the noted film, Papilio Buddha once again locks horns with Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) yet again. CBFC on Monday declined to clear Mr. Cherian's new film, Ka Bodyscapes on the charges that it contained sensitive gay scenes, use of derogatory words against women, and vulgar dialogues.
Cherian said the Regional Censor Board in Kerala did not reject his film but recommended the film for the consideration of the Revising Committee led by the controversial CBFC chairman Pahlaj Nihalani. Cherian alleged that the committee is unaware of issued like the public humiliation of women on account of their being in the menstruating age.
Cherian's Papilio Buddha - an environmental fiction film focusing on the struggles of the Adivasis was also first rejected a Censor Certificare for public screening but was later cleared after a protracted tussle. Cherian's Ka Bodyscapes had its world premiere at BFI’s LGBT festival which was held in London last month.
