Indian Olympic Association had appointed Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan as the Good Will Ambassador who will accompany India's unit to Rio Olmypics which will happen in Rio de ganero, Brazil. There is a huge debate going on if the Good Will Ambassador needs to be a film star or that chance should go to a Sports Legend.

Katrina Kaif is shooting for her new film, ‘Bar Bar Dhekho’ and at the film location, media personnel asked her to respond on this issue. Surprisingly, Katrina said, "Controversies are not new for Salman". The actress however refused to give her opinion on what she thought about Salman's appointment.

Yesteryear actress and BJP MP, Hema Malini supported Salman Khan's appointment. Yogeshwar Dutt who got a Bronze medal in 2012 Olympics and Legendary Hockey Player, Milkha Singh strongly opposed to the move and opined some sports legend should get the rare honour.
