Power Star Pawan Kalyan enjoys tremendous fan following among all sections of people across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan who is reserved shed all inhibitions to give interviews to various print and electronic media following the release of his film Sardar Gabbar Singh. He even responded on various topics touching up on his personal, professional and political life. 

Many channels competed to interview him but it is coming-out that a news channel insulted Pawan Kalyan. After confirming their interview with Pawan Kalyan, news channel cancelled the interview at the last minute. Sources say news channel took the extreme step following instructions from higher ups. 

It is coming-out that since the news channel is affiliated to party opposed to Power Star Pawan kalyan who as Jana Sena chief supporting TDP-BJP coalition, it got instructions from the top not to cover the interview as it amounts to giving publicity to the opponents. Many feel by not interviewing Pawan Kalyan, Pawan is not going to lose anything and infact the channel missed out golden opportunity.
