Tamil director directs Raviteja:
Mass Maharaja Raviteja is hit by back to back failures in the recent times. He was to act in a film titled 'Yevado Okadu' in the direction of ‘Oh My Friend’ fame Venu Sriram. However the project did not materialise for some reason. It is now emerging that the actor has Okayed a re-make for his next project.
In one of his interviews, Tamil director, TN Santosh revealed that he will be wielding megaphone for the Telugu version of his ‘Kanithan’ and Kalaipuli S Thanu will be producing it. He also added that the project will go on floors in a couple of months and will hit the screens towards the end of this year or early next year.
The director went on to say Raviteja's image very much suits the film and some changes are being made to make sure the film is according to the sensibilities of Telugu audience. ‘Kanithan’ is a film about an undercover operation which revolves around a crime syndicate selling duplicate certificates.
