Jr NTR Enters into Political Party?

Jr NTR would be the face of new political outfit that's likely to emerge in the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh. Buzz is that NTR's dearest friend-Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani and Jr NTR's father-ex Rajya Sabha MP Nandamuri Hari Krishna are toying with the idea of floating new political party. What's more? Already Nani and Harikrishna have chalked out a plan for the same and even consulted several senior politicians seeking their advise on how to take it forward.

While few openly advised Harikrishna to drop plans as it isn't easy to run a political party and survive, others suggested him to do good groundwork before starting it. In fact, this is not something new for Harikrishna as he has set up a political party Anna Telugu Desam way back in 1999. The party contested in general elections then saw colossal result as it failed to win a single Assembly seat or Parliament seat. Subsequently, Harikrishna merged the party into TDP and even became politburo member of the party and nominated to Rajya Sabha. Considering the past experience, Harikrishna now is making wise moves.

Going by reports, Nani and Harikrishna want to join as many as senior leaders from TDP and people who have already left YSR Congress. The move is to take on the ruling TDP.  It's well-known by now that Harikrishna and Jr NTR are not happy with TDP. Harikrishna is of the opinion that 'injustice' was meted out to him and his son Jr NTR in the TDP after campaigning for the party in 2009 elections. Unable to digest the reigns being handed over to Nara Lokesh, Harikrishna, who wants his son Tarak to lead TDP, started distancing from the party.

Since NTR is presently busy with films, Nani and Harikrishna want him to join later and in between, the duo is expected to make all necessary arrangements to launch the party. Nani is most trusted aid of Jr NTR and Jr NTR himself made it very clear many times. The recent public appearance of Nani with Harikrishna and Nani's statement that Harikrishna was his 'Political Guru' indicate that something is really brewing. What's more? And this is reportedly backed by YS Jagan to counter Naidu by weakening TDP with family feuds. Jagan wants to pit Jr NTR against Nara Lokesh and Nani, Harikrishna against Chandrababu Naidu so that he'd get political mileage in 2019 elections.

However, at the moment this is the just speculation doing the rounds. Whether it becomes reality or not has to be seen. If all goes well per the plan, AP would see a new political party before 2019 elections.
