Samsung launches Galaxy J3 (2016) smartphone, priced at Rs 8,990
DELHI: Samsung has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Galaxy J3 (2016) smartphone. The company has priced the device at Rs 8,990 and it will be exclusively available on Snapdeal.
The smartphone offers a new feature called S bike mode which claims to change the way users ride. The new ' S bike mode' feature would mute the phone and automatically send a text to the caller to try calling later. The Bike Mode feature will help the bikers to concentrate on the road while driving. Moreover, the bikers can also mark a few contacts as important, so that they can be notified even while riding.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) flaunts a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded further up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The smartphone comes with dual sim functionality and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. It houses a 2,600 mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi as connectivity options.
