‘Savithri’ sounds like a class title due to its homogeneity with all-time great Telugu actress Savithri. However, director Pavan Sadineni coming up with new movie ‘Savithri’ releasing on April 1 redefined its essence.

‘For me, ‘Savithri’ is not a class title. Actress Savithri garu is a well acknowledged face and name among masses. So, I never felt it as a risk to take up this title. In fact, ‘Savithri’ title helped our film to enjoy a big reach and business of the product is also increased. Most importantly, this is not a women centric flick. This is a pure family entertainer running on genuine emotions. Entertainment, heroine characterization and emotions form basic pillars of this film’s narration,’ said director Pavan Sadineni.  

Nara Rohit is playing Dr. Rishi and his love story with Savithri aka Nanditha is the basic storyline. Made on a decent budget by VB Rajendra Prasad, let us hope that ‘Savithri’ keeps the summer Box Office momentum going on.
