UPTET Results 2016 declared




The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is necessary to become a primary or upper primary teacher in the state.

Lucknow: The result of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) has been declared.

Candidates can check their result on http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in

The exam, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh government, was held on February 02, 2016 at 1,128 centres.

More than nine lakh aspirants appeared in this eligibility test. Those who clear this test will be eligible to apply for TGT, PRT teachers posts.


The annual UPTET qualifies candidates to teach primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6 to 8) in any government school and in participating in privately operated schools in Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is necessary to become a primary or upper primary teacher in the state.
