They Forgot During Floods, Playing For a Building:

Chennai floods in 2015 was one of the biggest calamities in India. Hundreds died and Thousands were stranded including children, pregnant women and old people, without food, power supply and shelter for few days.

Telugu celebrities had come forward to lend their support by organizing an event called Memu Saitham through which they donated a big amount for flood victims. Our stars even played a cricket tournament as part of the event.

Now,  Kollywood's Nadigar Sangam is conducting a celebrity knockout tournament to collect funds to construct a new building for the union. Several superstars across the country like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan etc will be attending the opening ceremony on April 17th. It is learnt that, TV rights of the tourney were sold for whopping 9 crores and this shows craze on the event.

Some say that, it would be better if Nadigar Sangam had conducted such cricket tournament to raise funds for Chennai floods victims. Now, they are doing unnecessary hungama for a small cause, opine they.

Frankly speaking, stars should be in front row to support their people whenever natural disasters occur. When fans love the stars to the core, it will be give back for them lending support in bad phase.
